Every GP has their own area or interest and expertise.

Dr Grace Maano’s expertise is in Obstetrics and Gynaecology  and she is very keen to support  patient care by providing access to women’s health, sexual and contraceptive services while you maintain the role of being their GP.

As a GP-Obstetrician, patients do not require a referral to see Dr Grace Maano at the Mayo Specialist Rooms.

However, it is often helpful to get a letter from you detailing any relevant clinical information or suggested management for your patient. This letter can be  emailed to  or given to your patient to bring to their appointment.

Dr Maano will endeavour to  write back to you with information regarding any medications or procedures and copy results to you with your patient’s consent.

If you have specific questions or concerns about a patient that you would like Dr Maano  to see – Dr Grace is also very happy to take a call. Please contact reception on : 02 6551 0722 and the staff  will endeavour to assist.

HIRAYA Women’s Health is a private clinic and will not routinely offer Medicare bulk billed visits.  With Medicare online,  the Medicare rebate can be claimed same day and will be paid into patient’s  nominated bank account.

Fees are payable at the time of consultation (Medicare rebates apply for valid Medicare card holders –patients will need their Medicare Card, Photographic ID, and Bank Details for them  to receive the instant Medicare rebate – without these patients will incur the full cost.

Consultations are by appointment only. On the day of appointment please advise patients to arrive 10 minutes before their allocated consult time. This will allow them to register and complete any administration.  If the patients have seen Dr Maano at 63 Wynter Street Medical Centre – they will be considered continuing patients if they can bring health summary or copy of their files/last results in reference to their current issue, otherwise they will be billed as new patient.
